We are so excited to welcome families back for another amazing summer at SparkLab Kids Camp! After an incredible response last year, we've grown, improved, and packed even more creativity, science, and fun into our 2026 season.
What Is SparkLab?
SparkLab is a hands-on, screen-free STEAM summer camp for curious kids ages 6–12 in Edmonton, AB. Every week has a different theme — from space exploration to mechanical invention — and every day is filled with building, experimenting, discovering, and creating.
We believe that kids learn best when they're doing. So at SparkLab, your child won't sit and watch. They'll be elbow-deep in projects, figuring things out, making mistakes, and building the kind of real-world confidence that lasts a lifetime.
What's New in 2026
This year we're introducing six brand-new weekly themes:
- Space Cadets & Cosmic Creations (July 6–10) — Blast off into astronomy, rocket design, and space-inspired art
- Master Builders & Architectural Art (July 13–17) — Engineering, structural design, and the art of building big
- Unplugged Coders & Puzzle Artists (July 27–31) — Logic, pattern thinking, and creative problem-solving without screens
- Body Lab & Expressive Arts (Aug 10–14) — Human biology meets movement, dance, and visual art
- Incredible Inventors & Mechanical Art (Aug 17–21) — Machines, levers, gears, and kinetic sculpture
- STEAM Mashup & Grand Finale (Aug 24–28) — An all-disciplines celebration week with a special showcase
Every theme is designed to blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math in ways that feel like pure play.
A Typical Day at Camp
Campers arrive, settle in, and dive straight into the morning's project. We work in small groups so every child gets individual attention and room to explore their own ideas. After lunch and some outdoor free play, afternoons bring a second project or experiment that builds on the morning's theme.
At SparkLab, no two days are the same — and that's exactly the point.
Ready to Register?
